Axton employs a team of highly trained technical staff, including professional engineers with extensive metallurgical knowledge and design experience. Using the latest in computer-assisted design, innovative solutions can be generated to meet specific detail design applications.

Fabrication

With more than 30 years of experience, Axton’s fabrication facility specializes in custom design, engineering and fabrication of equipment. Axton’s modern, ASME code production facility features more than 68,000 square feet of shop space, including two new segregated bays for stainless steel fabrication and nickel alloy fabrication.

Automated SAW and orbital welding methods are used to ensure consistent quality. We offer more than 200 PQR/WPS qualifications in GTAW, GMAW, SAW, SMAW and FCAW.

Machining

Axton’s machine shop produces top quality machined parts in carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloy and aluminum.
Machining is completed to full specification and stringent standards.
Every project is subject to rigorous quality control, ensuring the accuracy of each part produced.

Mechanical Assembly

Companies utilizing rotating or moving mechanisms can take advantage of our convenient assembly service.
In-house charge-out rates are generally more economical than field service rates, thereby saving both time and money.
Equipment is fully tested before leaving the loading bay and, if required, can be shipped in components.
